The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III made an appearance together with his new wife chioma at the installation ceremony of Chief Tomori Williams as the Aare Onikoyi of Yoruba land.
The 82-year-old king reportedly attended the event with his 13 wives, who were looking ravishing in white lace and matching white headgear. However his new bride was on his left hand side when he walked in.
Her title wasn’t recognized not until when Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) started eulogizing the king in his musical performance, he then mentioned “Olori Chioma Adeyemi” and this raised eyebrows as guests started questioning when the King married her.
A report by City People disclosed that, the monarch got married to Chioma last year. According to them she is yet to embark on a 9-month course, she will be the first young eastern Queen married to the Alaafin of Oyo.
