5. What’s the structure for powering the venue?
Do they run diesel or petrol generating set? What’s the availability of the fuel resource? Is electricity stable or not? You need to find out these details.
6. How many guests can seat comfortably in the venue?
This is another key question you should ask. Can the wedding venue accommodate your guests? How many people can conveniently seat in the hall?
7. Is there a set time?
Some wedding venues have set time for events to start or end. If you are planning an early start, you need to double check the timing or if you intend having an after party. Confirm the opening hours.
8. What’s the car park capacity?
Calculate an average of the guests you are expecting and do an estimate of the cars. If your guests will be traveling to attend your wedding, then you are sure of having a lot of cars. Find out from the wedding venue manager how many cars can the parking lot serve. Will there be someone to show your guests where to go from the car park?
9. Will there be any other major event happening within the building the same time as your wedding?
Will there be another wedding happening? It is possible that there might be other weddings happening at the same time. While there isn’t much you can do about this, it is always better knowing ahead of time as this means that resources like parking space, venue attendants will be shared.
