Head coach of Tradesafe Sport SC, Ademola Adeshina has lauded the grit and determination of his .ers despite their 2-0 defeat against continental side, Kwara United as thier preseason preparations get underway.
The recruitment phase ahead of the new season has seen few additions to the team hence the early preparation ahead of a congested season which the coach believes that the NNL ticket which is the core focus of the club will be sealed after narrowly missing out on NLO.
He revealed this in an exclusive interview with Sports247 after the friendly game.
“This game isn’t bad as it seems, because I believe that we just started the pre-season friendly match, then we .ed a very much better than us in Nigeria presently,” he said of thier opponent, Kwara United.
“They are going for the continental games to represent Nigeria and as for my boys, they tried because we have two teams so as to accommodate both the new and old .ers.”
“I hope we will do more against our next opponent, 3SC this afternoon at the main bowl and I believe that the boys will come out strongly.”
“We will just go and get some rest, eat and catch some sleep maybe before the next friendly against an equally good side.”
On the fans displeasure with the team’s result, “I apologize to the fans, I understand thier grievances, they always want thier team to win and that’s how it’s supposed to be, we will do better in the next game,” he vowed.
Tradesafe Sport lost their NLO .off against Smart City and now they are regrouping for another promotion battle next season.
He further said, “As for the NNL because sincerely NLO isn’t our target but at the same time, I won’t promise anyone anything but be rest assured that we won’t let our guard down.”
“We will do everything possible to achieve our aim and put smiles and happiness on the faces of our fans,” he concluded.
