AEW star Jack Evans files complaint over alleged ‘extortion by police’ – Fashionstyle Nigeria

All Elite Wrestling star Jack Evans has claimed he is ‘being extorted” by police officers in Mexico City.
The 39-year-old wrestler – whose most recent match was against Eddie Kingston on the October 24 episode of AEW Dark – has left fans concerned after alleging officers have forced him to pay them money.
On Tuesday night, he tweeted: ‘This will sound like a fake message but it is not.’I am currently being extorted by 2 police officers … in Mexico City. In the last 4 days I have had to pay around 7000 pesos (350$ american) and I am not paying more.
‘So if I get arrested on drug charges in the next little bit I want to put it out t. right now that it was planted…’
Jack – who was born California and is said to have lived in Mexico City for a few years – has reposted the same message in Spanish on his Twitter account.
On Wednesday, he added: ‘Update: I filed an official complaint and got all of my witnesses together (t. is a lot of them ) and I am just laying low. Nothing else to share.’
It is unclear which police department Jack is referring too in his tweets.
One fan responded: ‘Stay Safe Jack’.
Another said: ‘I wish t. was something we can do, I hope that your pulling through, it’s seriously messed up. Keep us updated, we’re all . for you. (sic)’
And a different fan added: ‘Jack, please, get us updated and let us know if we can do something.’
The alleged incident comes after Jack appeared to criticise AEW over his lack of screen time, as he retweeted a message from a follower suggesting his contract may not be renewed as the company focuses on new talent, including rumoured signings like Kevin Owens and Kyle O’Reilly.
He responded: ‘That awkward moment when someone word for word types out your inner thoughts.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted AEW for comment on Jack’s tweets about the alleged extortion.
