Bandits have abducted four travellers along the Irele Ekiti-Oke Ako Highway in Ajoni Local Council Development Area.

A community leader in Irele-Ekiti, Kehinde Abejide lamented that the attacks had become incessant.

“Though we have in the past made local arrangements . relating to security, it can never be enough to confront these people.
“T. is the need for a military post between Irele and Oke Ako to forestall attacks by these gunmen”, NAN quoted him saying.
State Commander of Amotekun Corps, retired Brig-Gen. Joe Komolafe, confirmed the incident.
Komolafe said operatives were already combing the forest in the area in search of the captives.
