Bolanle Olukanni easily pulled show stopping looks for Fashions Finest Africa 2018 awards as the host on Friday 25th May and she brought it fashionably!
Always one to pull all fashionable stops, Bolanle Olukanni dazzled everyone when she spotted 3 unpredictable looks for the event! The first a trad outfit, a second one featuring a white cape and a third inspired by the last MET Gala’s theme ‘Heavenly Bodies, Fashion & The Catholic Imagination’!
She was styled by award winning stylist and style curator Tosin Ogundadegbe of The Style Infidel who shares the inspiration behind her looks. “I wanted to circle around culture to hit fashion moments of 2018” he says.
For the first look, the TV personality chose an ‘agbada’ with matching pants cinched in the waist for an effortless graceful fit. She paired the look with heels and hair in a slick chignon. “We tied her first look to the theme from an outfit I pulled from my best friend’s wardrobe with jewellery from Gbenga Artsmith, her shoes were from desire 1709” the stylist reveals.
For her second look she chose a chic jacket paired with white pants and a gorgeous fascinator.” Look 2 is an inspiration from the just concluded royal wedding” Ogundadegbe shares.
“We pulled a custom look made in a day by Jemimah Oyeleke for Knanfe with jewellery from The Style Infidel Studios and a hat from Omoge collections”.
For Look 3 she chose an elegant look.
“Look 3 is inspired by the 2018 MET Gala theme. Bolanle donned an Airvy Atelier piece with jewellery from The Style Infidel studios, her hair was done by Zubby definition and makeup by Zaron cosmetics”. “Her headpiece was from two neckpieces!” the stylist reveals.
A lot of thoughts definitely went into her looks and she rocked those well, no? What style is your favourite?
