Cardi B is still celebrating her latest song WAP and this time by ditching her signature black hair. Instead of wearing her go-to, long straight hairstyle, Cardi took to Instagram wearing her hair in pink pigtails. Although she wears unthinkable hair colors more often than not, we haven’t seen the singer’s hair styled so unusually.
For the styling, Cardi worked with her creative hairstylist Tokyo Stylez, who made the most of the wig to give the American rapper heat-shaped pigtails.
While sharing the video last night, the singer asked fans whether they like the new hairstyle or not. “Ya like my hair?” she captioned the video.
Featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi WAP music video was released two weeks ago and in the second week, the song is still at No. 1. The music video, however, is claimed to be too Vulgar and while striking her defense, the 27-year-old Grammy-award winner said the song is for adults not for “really religious people.”
“The people that the song bothers are usually conservatives or really religious people, but my thing is I grew up listening to this type of music,” Cardi told an Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show in an interview. “Other people might think it’s strange and vulgar, but to me it’s almost like really normal, you know what I’m saying?”
She also accepted the fact that her 2-year-old daughter Kulture cannot listen to the song. “No, of course I don’t want my child to listen to this song and everything — but it’s for adults,” she said.
