Defoe has sympathy for Man Utd captain Maguire after England jeers – Sport News

Jermain Defoe expressed sympathy for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire after he was jeered by England fans last night.

Tottenham youth coach Defoe was unable to defend Maguire’s mistakes as he assessed the goals afterward.

“You look at the goals and they were avoidable,” Defoe said on Channel 4.
