Don’t Drag Us Into Anambra Election – IPOB Gives INEC Stern Warning

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, not to pull the organization into the state’s governorship election on November 6.

The IPOB leadership made this known in a statement signed by Emma Powerful, IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, and shared on Sunday.

The group stated that it had no business with INEC, especially when it comes to discussing how to organize free, fair, and peaceful/credible elections in the state.

“We, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), skillfully led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU, desire to reaffirm once more that we have no business with INEC,” the message said.

“We have no idea whether INEC exists or not.” We have nothing to do with the election that INEC is holding, and we are perplexed as to why INEC would wish to bring us into it.

“INEC should deal with the situation at hand and leave IPOB alone.” We had no discussions with the Nigerian government, let alone INEC.

“We found the announcement by the Nigerian police that they will be arriving in Anambra State with 33,000 people and eight helicopters on November 6th to slaughter Igbo citizens hilarious.”

“This statement from the IGP of the Fulani-controlled police indicates how prepared they are to kill our people, as well as a clear indicator that Nigerian police and the Fulani cabal do not want the Anambra election to take place.”

“We also want to state unequivocally that the Nigerian police plan to send nearly 33,000 police officers and three helicopters, among other things, to Anambra State for the November 6 governorship election is another another ruse to kill more innocent Biafrans.”

“This validates our fears and previous intelligence that Fulani-controlled security agents have refined preparations to use the election to force more Biafra youngsters to their deaths.”
