Adewale Daniel Jayeoba has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with an alleged investment scheme.
According to the EFCC, Jayeoba, a citizen of Ori-Ade Local Government in Ogun State, resided at Suit 1004, Providence Centre, MKO Abiola Way, near the NNPC Mega Station, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to the anti-graft agency’s Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued an arrest warrant for Adewale Daniel Jayeoba of Wales Kingdom Capital in connection with an alleged investment scam.
Jayeoba’s parents, Emmanuel and Victoria Jayeoba, were detained in June for allegedly defrauding individuals in a N935 million Ponzi scheme, according to the Daily Post.
With the help of their son, Uwujaren stated at the time that the couple “handled the plot in the garb of forex trading” (who is still at large).
The couple was allegedly apprehended at their residence in Ibadan, Oyo State’s capital.
They are the parents of Adewale Daniel, the Marketing Director of Wales Kingdom Capital Limited, it was disclosed at the time.
Before his arrest, Emmanuel, the father, was described as a Director of Wales Kingdom Capital, with five bank accounts through which he allegedly collected N18,397,913.
Victoria, the mother, was alleged to have six bank accounts and a total of N916,607,715 in her possession.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the wanted person should contact any of the EFCC’s offices across the country, according to the agency.
