Fans shouldn’t protest against Lukaku’s return, says Bergomi – Sporting Life

Inter Milan legend, Beppe Bergomi, has said fans shouldn’t protest against the return of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is in talks to re-sign for Inter after a year away.
Bergomi said, “No one should protest him, last year that deal suited everyone, including Inter: let’s not forget what the situation was like a year ago. Now he’s back, in fact everyone should appreciate his willingness to come back: it means that this club means something to him, in fact much more.

“A great department is taking shape, yes. I dwell especially on the Lukaku operation that I saw well from the beginning. Inter are getting back a .er with characteristics that were missing before, a charismatic leader who drags everything and everyone.”
Paul Dybala could also arrive from Juventus.
Bergomi said: “Taken for free, a striker like that is to be considered an opportunity rather than a .er fully organic to the technical project. Inter are right to try to bring him home, even though he may be more difficult to fit in, at least at the start.
“But I have great faith in Inzaghi’s work, even if the position of Calhanoglu and now Mkhitaryan must always be considered.”
