FC Copenhagen’s Akinkunmi Amoo Out For The Rest Of The Season, Official Club Statement Confirms | Latest Sports and Football News in Nigeria

FC Copenhagen has confirmed in a released official club statement that Nigeria international, Akinkunmi Amoo is out for the rest of the season.

Amoo, unfortunately, suffered a serious knee injury in Saturday’s training match against Silkeborg, and after scans and further examinations, he has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

The statement read: “Amoo will now have an operation, will rest, and then undergo a long rehabilitation before he can train with the team and . matches again.”

“Altogether, that process will last nine to 10 months,” says FCK chief physician Morten Boesen.

The team and everyone wish him a speedy recovery.
