Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor, has rated Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus a better signing than Erling Haaland at Manchester City.
Gabriel Jesus was offloaded by the Premier League champions after they triggered a £51million release clause in Haaland’s contract to prise the Norwegian away from Borussia Dortmund. The Gunners shelled out around £45m to bring Jesus’ five-year stint at the Etihad to an end just weeks later.

Both strikers have been prolific since their blockbuster moves: Haaland has plundered a remarkable 14 goals in 10 games for City, while Jesus has bagged four goals and three assists in his first seven outings for Arsenal.
Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: “Best signing is Gabriel Jesus for me. Haaland has been outstanding, but City always did well without Haaland and scored ridiculous goals without Haaland. Gabriel Jesus has turned Arsenal into something else. They have got a striker now who doesn’t labour when he is pressing defenders.”
