Daniel Bwala, an aide to the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the backlash against President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, for flying the presidential jet to watch a polo match.

Bwala said Seyi Tinubu worked hard for his father’s presidential position and hence deserves the treatment he is receiving.

“To be fair to @Stinubu Seyi Tinubu, he is a member of the first family and has worked hard enough for this father @officialABAT Tinubu’s presidential position of today, I dare say more than 7 governors combined.

“Besides, if all the people in this government who worked against democracy could enjoy same privileges, I do not think Seyi should be visited with indignation like that.

“Besides, he doesn’t have the power to just hop into the jet, somebody in the hierarchy of govt. Made it happen. Let’s rather point the fingers to the right direction.”
