Mzansi hip-hop rapper Kiernan Forbes popularly known in the music circle as AKA has set aside his beef with his former friend Burna Boy to eulogize the Nigerian Afro-dancehall artist for winning a grammy award.
Congratulatory messages have been flowing from all over the continent to Nigerian muso Burna Boy for winning a Grammy award with his album Twice as Tall.
You will be living under a rock to not hear the news that Burna Boy has won a Grammy but that didn’t prevent a tweep from asking AKA if he has heard the news following his previous spat with the global Afro-dancehall sensation.
“I always knew that guy was something special. What a King. Just because I decided to defend my country doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate his greatness,” AKA responded the tweep.
He also said local fans were “fortunate” to know Burna Boy before the world did.
