The #EndSARS and #Endpolicebrutality movement have been ongoing in Nigeria for over two weeks now and it doesn’t look like the protests are going to end anytime soon. This is because the government is still giving a dumb ear to the request of the people and rather than a complete reform, the government wants to recycle the system in which Nigerians are not buying the idea.
As a result, Nigerians in the diaspora have united to partake in protests and lend their voices to see how the country can be a better place for everyone. From the Nigerian-American actress Uzo Aduba, Hollywood breakout star Yvonne Orji, Cynthia Erivo, Jidenna, and beauty queen Jackie Aina, to Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade and singer Runtown, watch the video below for what they to say about the unprecedented police brutality protests.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We are united and stand in solidarity as one Nigeria. This is a chance to redefine our future and we join the call for the Nigerian government to act now to create a country that we all can be proud of!!!
