The Labour Party (LP) strongly urged Nigerians to dismiss the circulating rumors suggesting its engagement in discussions for a merger with another political party.

In a statement released on Thursday in Abuja by Mr. Obiora Ifoh, the National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, it was emphasized that the reported story has been sensationalized and manipulated by the media to discredit the party.
