Lekki Tollgate: “Murderer” RCCG members petition Adeboye over Pastor Yemi Osinbajo

Some members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG have called for the resignation of vice president, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo following the massacre of youths at the Lekki Toll gate on Tuesday evening.

Taking to social media to air out their petition, the youths called on the General Overseer of RCCG to strip the vice president of his title as a Pastor in its church.

Popular influencer, Nike Fowowe wrote “It’s either you resign @profosinbajo or you step down as being a #RCCG Pastor we don’t have MURDERERS as pastors . @pastoreaadeboyeofficial told you to allow we the youths protest yet you killed us !!!! Under your watch #Nigerian citizens died !! you are a TOTAL Disgrace to the RCCG Family !!!! Total disgrace !!!!Lord have mercy I am ANGRY !!!!”

Good morning Nigerians. Never use your influence as a religious leader to manipulate people. Lesson learned”

One Obinna Nwosu wrote “Until Pastor Yemi Osinbajo is suspended, I am never stepping foot into any Redeem Christian Church of God. He has lost the grace to serve as cover of the life of saints…Osinbajo must be suspended,he’s a criminal,he’s a [email protected]@PastorFAAdeboye”

One Smith wrote “It is a big disappointment that a man that called himself a man of [email protected]Osinbajo will be part of Government that kills her citizens. I am a redeemer. Prof should remember what happend to prophet Eli and his linage in the Bible.”

Kemi Filani News recalls that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye lent his support to the ongoing nationwide #EndSARs protest last week.

Pastor E.A Adeboye in statement on his official Twitter page commended the youths for speaking up and stressing that every young soul matters and the fight against police brutality in the country should be addressed by the government.

“Our daughters will not be able to prophesy, and young men will not see visions if we don’t keep them alive. I support the youths in this peaceful protest as they “speak up” to #EndPoliceBrutality,”

Adeboye said he was backing the youths protesting because they needed to be kept alive.
