Manchester United fans have begun their latest protest against the Glazers ahead of their clash with Liverpool, with a heavy police presence required.
Fan anger has long been directed at the club’s owners and their supporter base has rallied together once more to make their feelings known at Old Trafford. Several supporter groups have come together as they look to make a lawful protest against the top brass, marching from The Tollgate pub towards Old Trafford.
Huge numbers of fans gat.d together and have been filmed on social media chanting “We want Glazers out” with flares also being lit. It was before a home game with Liverpool two seasons ago that fans made their voice heard, eventually finding their way onto the Old Trafford pitch before kick-off, which eventually saw the contest postponed late in the day.
Fans have had an impact on Monday night after assembling around the Lowry Hotel, which is w. staff and .ers usually meet before games. As a result their usual plans were abandoned and they’ve met at the stadium instead, according to reports.

The team’s poor start to the season has magnified their problems and the frustration is only growing following the horrendous nature of their 4-0 defeat at Brentford last weekend.
They were rumours last week that the Glazers were potentially open to selling a stake in the club they have seen decline over the past decade. A continued turnover of managers has been partly down to poor appointments in key areas with Ed Woodward’s decade-long spell proving hugely unsuccessful.
