Moroccan Hamman bath is a relaxing and cleansing bath that is very popular in Morocco. It is usually done for special occasions, but in our case, we really need it today. Thanks, Torera!
If you’re wondering why you need this super soothing bath, well we have some convincing reasons. The Moroccan Hammam bath rejuvenates, clarifies and detoxes the skin with amazing results. It is also famed for reducing stress and anxiety to boost overall wellbeing. Convinced yet?
So how can you get this lush bath at home? Well, we have the answers. Well, Torera has the answers!
Here’s what you’ll need;
Start by blocking every space air can escape from. This includes the bottom of doors, sides of windows etc. Doing this creates a sauna perfect for the other steps.
Grab your favourite shampoo and body soaps and wash your hair and body. Try your best not to rush this. Take your time ensuring your skin is softened and cleansed in the process.
When you’re done from the shower, let the water run hot generating steam in the bathroom. Relax and let the steam engulf your body. Alternatively, you can soak in mildly hot water to allow your skin to soften up.
Take the Beldi soap and rub a thin layer all over your body. Torera advises that you stay in the bath so the steam can help massage the soap into your skin. Leave the lather on your body for about 10 minutes and rinse off.
Next, take your Kessa glove and gently scrub your body in circular motions. This glove specializes in removing dead skin so be sure to concentrate on areas with hyperpigmentation and tough skin like elbows, armpits, knees and feet. When you’re done scrubbing, rinse it all off.
Put a good amount of Rasso clay in a bowl and add some water until it thickens up to a consistency you’d like. After, rub the clay on your face and body and allow sit for some minutes. Let all the goodness work its way into your skin while in the bath. When you’re satisfied, rinse it all off gently.
When your body is a little dry, take some of your Argan oil and massage into your entire body. Argan oil is a great natural moisturiser and works great for healing cracked skin. This would definitely help soothe and soften your skin for a gorgeous glow!
