Bayer Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn has said Robert Lewandowski will not leave for Barcelona.

On Wednesday morning, sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić warned the striker they are expecting him back on July 12, while Kahn wasted little time in following that line.

At the presentation of new signing Sadio Mane (in theory something which should help facilitate Lewandowski’s exit), Kahn, the former Bayern goalkeeper, was clear: “T. no news with Robert. He has a contract until 2023 and we are waiting for him on the first day of (preseason) training.
