The Ooni of Ife has had a very drama-filled love life since he ascended the throne, and he has been associated with a lot of women since his separation from Olori Wuraola a year ago.
He was rumoured to be considering Tope Adesegun as his new bride in August, but those plans have obviously changed. Yesterday, on his official Twitter page, he finally unveiled who his new Queen-to-be is.
The Olori-to-be is Shilekunola Moronke Naomi Oluwaseyi, a 25-year-old Prophetess/Evangelist who went into full-time ministry in 2011. She is the Founder of EN-HERALDS, an Interdenominational Pentecostal Ministry based in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
The Ooni had this to say in a series of tweets:
“I waited patiently upon the Almighty the King of kings, he eventually did it in the midst of many trials.
“Shilekunola, Moronke, Naomi; the greatest Arsenal you can apply on this highly revered throne with many rules and regulations in the midst of undiluted tradition, heritage and culture is the “Fear Of God In You”, which is the beginning of your wisdom on this throne of Oduduwa.
You are welcome home my beautiful and adorable queen.”
The wedding is slated for this weekend, .’s a first look at the new couple.
