The preference for male children over female ones in African culture will be in focus in the episode seven of the Glo-sponsored T.V drama series, Professor Johnbull. This episode of the popular sitcom attempts to examine what factors make some in the society to believe the male child is superior to the girl child.

Titled Baby Bomboi, the episode takes a potshot at the unscientific act of discriminating against the girl-child and the dangers such practice portend in the society. Does the gender of a child determine the child’s future? Under the same tutelage, what is the guarantee that the male child will fare any better?

Find out how this crisis is resolved in this episode which will air on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8:30p.m. on Tuesday.
