Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has thanked officials of Kwara United for their warm reception during his visit for on the spot assessment of NPFL match between Afonja Warriors and Sunshine stars on Sunday.
Peseiro who was accompanied to the trip by one of his assistants revealed that he used the opportunity to discuss with officials on issues bothering on Nigerian football.
“It was a pleasure to meet and discuss Nigerian football with representatives from Kwara United and Sunshine Stars yesterday. Thank you all for your warm welcome and cordiality” enthused Peseiro
T. are strong indications that Peseiro may visit some other match venues to watch more local .ers considering that the Eagles will not be in action till September 18 when they will re-open the Nations cup qualifiers against Guinea Bissau The four months of inaction some say should give the Portuguese tactician time to discover some other local .ers that can be injected into the national team.

The former Al Hilal handler has so far superintended over four Super Eagles matches two friendlies and two competitive matches.He lost the two friendlies .ed in Texas USA but won the two nation Cup qualifiers against Seirra leone and São Tomé and Príncipe.
The Eagles and their new coach are condemned to do well at the next edition of the Nations cup to be hosted next year in Cote d Ivoire after crashing out in the round of 16 at the last edition in Cameroon.
