Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka issued an apology to Kostas Tsimikas for inadvertently causing the Liverpool .er’s collarbone injury at Anfield during Saturday’s Premier League match.
Tsimikas had to exit the game after colliding with his own coach, Jurgen Klopp, following a challenge with Saka.
The incident occurred during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool, resulting in the Greek left-back being taken to the hospital for medical attention due to the collision.
Saka expressed regret for the unintentional clash that led to Tsimikas’ injury during the match.
In his words;
”I have heard he’s gone to hospital so I want to apologise to him.”
“I didn’t mean it, of course. For me it was just a 50-50 and I have gone shoulder to shoulder with him.
“I didn’t see but he must have taken a bad fall, I didn’t see that he went into Jurgen Klopp either.”
“I was focussed on running forward because I didn’t think it was a foul.”
