Warning: spoilers ahead for Hawkeye.

The episode 6 finale of Hawkeye has blasted onto Disney Plus, with the Marvel series concluding in spectacular fashion as Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) team up to face off against their foes.

Among them was Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), the Tracksuit Mafia and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), while Echo (Alaqua Cox) had a change of heart when she and Wilson Fisk came to blows.

While the show did feature a post-credits scene, it may not have been the one that many fans were expecting, as viewers were treated to a full-length version of I Can Do This All Day from the hopefully-soon-to-be-coming-to-Broadway production of Rogers: The Musical.

The performance began with a group of New Yorkers singing about the battle raging on the street, before the original six Avengers – and the surprise addition of Ant-Man – joined in.

Some people watching may have spotted that the actor .ing the role of Lead New Yorker #1, a member of the public dressed in a suit who is part of the ensemble, was none other than Adam Pascal, best-known for his starring role as Roger Davis in Rent, who also portrayed Theo, the lead singer of No Vacancy, in School of Rock.

His unmistakable voice immediately sparked memories of his performances in the 2003 film, in which he performed Fight for Your Love before Jack Black’s Dewey Finn was kicked out of the group and Heal Me, I’m Heartsick at the Battle of the Bands, which No Vacancy won.

Adam, who was in the original cast of Jonathan Larson’s musical Rent on Broadway and starred in the 2005 film adaptation, recently appeared in Tick, Tick… Boom!, the Andrew Garfield film directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda about Jonathan’s stage musical of the same name.

In 1996, he was nominated for a Tony Award for his stellar role in Rent on Broadway, for which he was also nominated for a Drama Desk Award and won a Theatre World Award.

Several Hawkeye viewers praised Adam on his performance, with one tweeting: ‘ADAM PASCAL IN THE ROGERS MUSICAL GOES SO HARD.’

‘I never expected to find Adam Pascal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but . we are!’ another said.

‘I did not have Adam Pascal on my bingo card this morning, but I am delighted he was t.,’ someone else remarked.

One fan expressed their hope that they’ll one day be able to watch the . in real life with the actor in the cast, stating: ‘I need #RogersTheMusical starting Adam Pascal on Broadway IMMEDIATELY.’

‘Minor #Hawkeye spoiler but I cannot believe Adam Pascal is canon in the MCU,’ another wrote.
