Style Temple

Style Temple, Studio 189, Denike, Dzyn, Ejiro Amos Tafiri and more designers brought it for Day 3 of Lagos Fashion Week.

Style Temple won our hearts for day 3 no doubt! The night kicked off with Bloke making a case for tapered pants, crinkled shirts and bold cutouts on menswear pieces with a touch of sheer bringing everything but boring to the runway. Denike presented for Fashion Focus making everyone proud!

The emerging designer took Aso Oke to new heights; the hand loomed gem that was a hit on the runway made up the majority of her SS19 pieces in gorgeous colour blocks. She also worked with Batik accenting dresses with ruffles, high slits and midriff cutouts. She also brought tulle to .; that was really nice!

DZYN brought back colour block, glitzy sequin and tulle for SS19 w. Moofa did an intricate mix of clashing prints and sheer overlay for her latest collection.

Of course Ugo Monye did traditional looks the modern way taking a cue from his roots with his cultural presentation; his use of velvet was bold! Black Coffee came flirty for the season with sheer accents and girly tulle details.

For JZO, it was tunic, poncho, batik and colour block. Ejiro Amos Tafiri went all out with Aso Oke for her new season infusing the tribal goodness into jumpsuit kaftan, dresses in different styles. Her take on Grecian drapery, gaping slits were breathaking. The Aso Oke slippers with tassels? Yum (we really need to know if those would be on sale soon)!

Maybelline had an all star presentation showing off new makeup trends with top celebrities including Bambam, Koko by Khloe, Bolanle Olukanni, Adunni Ade and more. Sisiano had a collaboration with Mitsubishi highlighting the brand’s hues. Sunny Rose did dreamy with print embellishments and an array of timeless modest pieces.

Style Temple has a collection filled with signature pieces for the fashion ‘IT’ girl. Think cape details, sultry slits, drapery, cowl accents amongst other stunnings details. Her new collection is fire! …and that’s putting it mildly.
