The Glazers have been at the debate of every topic related to Manchester United in recent years, with the club’s downfall being linked to their ownership of the Old Trafford club.

A lot of protests have been held by fans to force its owners out and even pundits such as Gary Neville, a former Manchester United .er has stirred those narratives with his comments on match day analysis; particularly after every defeat suffered by the team on pitch.

The Englishman in his comments on Manchester United’s recent defeat to Brentford, even had a row with fellow pundit, Jamie Redknapp about the Glazers.

It turns out that with all the protests and criticisms, the Glazers are not entirely against the idea of selling the club, as the Americans are said to be thinking about selling the club only for the right price.

The American owners took over ownership of the club back in May, 2005 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers using loans in order to foster a buyout for the club.

Since then the club’s fans have continually organized protests against their ownership of the club, with fans ruing the lack of investments in the club; ranging from the facilities at Old Trafford, the club’s training facilities at Carrington.

The Glazers as a result have been accused of taking out of the club continually without investing in it with their own money.

Former member of the board, Michael Knighton who tried to buy out the club in 1989 recently revealed his plans of getting together a consortium to buy off the club from the Glazers going by all the controversy plaguing the Americans.
