A social media user on . identified as Frank Boateng has said that the new host for TV3’s date rush is fighting to be funny like his predecessor Nii Kpakpo.

According to some analysis he made on ., the new season of Date rush involves too much talking which makes the show boring. Also, the host is not as funny as Nii Kpakpo. Thirdly he condemned the unnecessary commentary and also called for the return of the former host Nii Kpakpo Thompson.
