Omg! Kenyans finally made it to The Cannes Film Festival!
Yes we cannes! Kenya finally landed at The Cannes Film Festival in France all due to the hard-work of the amazing film director Wanuri Kahui for her controversial film dubbed Rafiki. The dynamic trio consisted of Wanuri Kahui, Samantha Mugastia and Sheila Munyiva. They came to shake up the red carpet with their looks. They were styled in local Kenyan designer outfits such as Kiko Romeo and Own Your Culture. We loved their fashion. Good job girls!
1. Jumpsuits & Tailored Suits.
Samantha Mugastia wore a Kiko Romeo blue printed suit with slim fit pants and burgundy brogues. She nailed this official look with out a breaking a sweat! Her fellow film actress Sheila Munyiva wore an outfit that compliment Samantha’s outfit; a blush pink jumpsuit paired with pink chunky embellished heels with simple brass jewellery by Own Your Culture.
2. All white red carpet affair.
These trio of beautiful ladies have us shook when they took up to the red carpet! Kenyans we know how to bring our fashion game! Wanuri wore an beautiful feathered one shoulder chiffon gown; she had her braids held up in a high bun with simple jewellery.
Samantha wore a simple fit all white jumpsuit with a matching coat and white shoes to complete the look. Simplicity has never looked so good!
Sheila Munyiva looked like a goddess in her pleated high collared jumpsuit with cut out details to it. She held herhair up in a bun and accessories her look with simple brass jewellery.
