This homemade Avocado mask is everything you will ever need!
Avocados are used as perfect accompaniments for Githeri, rice and Ugali meals. Avocados taste fantastic and are also healthy to eat. They are packed with vitamin E, vitamin C, iron, calcium, potassium, copper and magnesium.
One of the skin benefits of avocado comes from their mono-saturated fatty acids content. The mono-saturated fatty acids maintain moisture in the epidermal layer of the skin. This helps make the skin soft and hydrated. Avocado also helps regenerate damaged skin cells and reducing facial redness and irritation.
Creating an avocado mask is easy and all you need is honey and a ripe avocado. The two ingredients act as natural moisturizers. This mask works magic on mature and dry skin.
Take a ripe avocado, slice it open. Remove the skin and seed then mash the pulp in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix the ingredients to form a uniform paste.
Cover up your clothing with a towel or cloth because avocado can be messy. Apply the mixture to your face and leave for 10 – 15 minutes. Rinse off the mixture with warm water and pat your face dry.
