“I am not having any advantage as I take it. I am coming . to . the first game against Nigeria that is the mentality and the focus I have in mind. Is like coming to . the first match . before .ing the second in Ghana” he said.

Walker who however described his team as a winning team opined that a winning team is not changed and indication that he will be parading the same formation that floored the Salisu Yusuf tutored side 2-0 in Cape Coast.

Second-half goals from Afriyie Barnie and Seidu Suraj ensured the Ghanaians claimed two goals and three points of the first leg last Sunday. The Coach just before leaving Ghana for Abuja had vowed not to allow Nigeria turn the table in Abuja.

“We will plan for a strategy because we cannot sit down for the Nigerians to overturn a two-goal deficit.

Salisu on his part had boasted about his resolve to turn the table in Abuja, a submission which some fans are taking with a pinch of salt and adopting a wait and see attitude to.

The super Eagles were prevented from picking a ticket to the World cup in Qatar by Black Stars of Ghana at the Abuja Stadium and many are hoping that a repeat of the bitter lesson will not occur this afternoon.

A number of fans who spoke to Sportinglife.ng ahead of today’s match said they would have been more comfortable had the team lost by a lone goal in Ghana or .ed out a draw before today’s return leg insisting that it is easier to cancel a lone goal defeat of draw than to seek a resounding 3-0 victory which is the only way the Eagles can earn a ticket to the next CHAN to be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
