Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery, expressed disappointment following their 3-2 loss to Manchester United on Tuesday.

Aston Villa initially led 2-0 at Old Trafford courtesy of goals from John McGinn and Leandra Dendoncker.

However, Manchester United made a strong second-half comeback, with Alejandro Garnacho scoring twice to secure the win.

Emery reflected on the game, saying,

“We were in control for about 60 minutes after the first half. However, conceding with a mistake changed the dynamics. The atmosp. shifted, energizing the home crowd.”

He also pointed out missed opportunities for McGinn and Leon Bailey as crucial moments in the match.
